Exempt from Zempt

Don’t you just love it when you find a new tool, but it won’t work with one of your common configurations? This morning I saw Jeremy had posted about using Zempt to post to his blog. ‘Neato,’ I thought (well not really). Checked out Zempt’s site, downloaded and installed it, only to not have it work. And the reason is rather simple: we use a Squid proxy at work, which requires authentication. Since Zempt is only at 0.2, naturally it does not have proxy authentication at this time. Drat.

Update: July 20, 2003. My link tag for Zempt was incorrect. Fixed.
