At this date I would like to propose a new term that impacts blogging: the Winer Effect. Similar to the Slashdot Effect the Winer Effect occurs when a blogger makes an entry about Dave Winer: a rush of people flood the blog, posting comments dissecting Winer. For evidence, or demonstration purposes, I present an entry from Kasia Trapszo blog:
kasia in a nutshell: Comment on Someone smack me if I ever do this
As a regular reader of her blog, I note that most of her entries average 5-10 comments. The one above, soared far above that, with many commenters previously unseen. Apparently they are attracted to her entry about Mr. Winer.
