Site changes
Posted: May 3rd, 2004 | Author: telcor | Filed under: SiteNews |Well, after a month of work, fussing and fighting, I have a new blog in place. The older blog (powered by Moveable Type) will be available soon. Until then, the static copies are accessible via http://blog.tel-cor.com/archives/ I got tired of Moveable Type after attempting to roll-out a large publishing system with it. One specific item that bugged Two specific things that bug me to no end are 1) everything is a static page, and 2) I\’m not a Perl hacker.
Due to those 2 main issues (along with a few others), I migrated my personal blog to WordPress and placed the large publishing system in Geeklog, where it resides quite nicely. If you want qualification for "large" there are over 15,000 entries spanning a 5 year period. Nothing anyone would want to spend a lot of time reformatting, typing, etc.
May I like WordPress better.
Update: Dur, forgot to set the proper category
