How to drive customers away

Based on dealings with other company’s, here is a simple list: How to drive away clients and lose business

  • Don’t clearly explain problems
  • Don’t return your clients’ calls (voice, email, etc)
  • Use software that you lack experience with
  • Use software that is unsupported
  • Don’t provide status updates to client
  • Don’t test solution before putting into production
  • Don’t provide means for client to monitor system
  • Keep telling your client “Just one more…” (also, “nickel and dime” them to death)
