Night of the Living Netscape

Now here’s something, like a recurring dream that
nags you into tedium. According to BetaNews
, AOL is going to continue development
of the Netscape browser:

The company plans to bring back a refreshed Netscape browser based on Firefox, which will incorporate an enhanced user interface and several new features.

AOL’s (mis)management of the Netscape product is an
excellent example of a company lacking direction. If AOL’s were
an actual human, a person would think AOL’s mentally unstable
since every few months the decision about Netscape is changed.
